Tarra Warra Estate chardonnay
Rich, elegant, harmonious. Creamy and nutty from time on lees.
The wine has grapefruit and lemon zest aromas with underlying notes of cashew nuts. The palate has a creamy yet fine texture derived from 10 months on lees and a lovely drive with persistence of flavour. With oak and tank maturation, the wine shows an elegant complexity with appealing freshness.

Fruit for the Estate wine was sourced from 13-30 year-old vines across various blocks. The TarraWarra Estate vineyard has a northerly aspect across high sloping hill-sides, which provides good drainage and air circulation. The grapes are all hand harvested at approximately seven tonnes per hectare.
Made with the same approach as the Reserve wine, the differences in this wine result from some tank fermentation as well as a selection of different barrels and fruit parcels than those used to make the Reserve Chardonnay.
