In Monferrato Pico Maccario owns the majority of the hundred hectares among Barbera, Viognier, Cortese, Sauvignon Blanc, and Moscato d’Asti varietals. Thanks to clayey and medium-texture soil, Pico Maccario wines are balanced and feature a modern, versatile style, but respecting the natural characteristics of the grapes and vines. All around the single vineyard estate, over five thousand rose plants and one thousand colored pencil poles bring joy and identify the history and the mood of Pico Maccario with total respect to the traditions.
