Montrose shiraz
A dark ruby purple. Peppery spice, anise, ripe dark fruit aromas. Ripe Palate, dark fruit bound with liquorice, light peppers, well integrated oak.
Medium colour, flavour and tannin. Richly textured.
Cloves, tobacco, oak, vanilla, bay leaf. Strawberry, mulberry and mulberry leaves, blueberry fruit.
Nestled in the hills edge on the outskirts of Mudgee. Montrose is the region’s pre-eminent winery.
